Dear Santa,

I don't usually ask for much, some slippers, Earl Grey tea, just a few little things, you know what I like. That is until now. This year I want world peace and an octopus chandelier. These wonderful undersea creations were made by photographer and sculptor Adam Wallacavage. The photos pretty much speak for themselves. I think one of these would be just the right touch for my dining room. Check out these images by Todd Selby, of Adam's home it's a carnival for your eyes. Of course Santa, if there isn't room in your sleigh, at least there is this diy project at Paper Stampede that I can begin working on. Thanks for the world peace thing though.

They are very...unusual! I do like the one that looks as if it is dripping in pearls though...Thanks for sharing his unique look at lighting!

That last one is amazing- I love how it's flush to the ceiling. It feels modern and clean and totally bizarre.

I'll start saving my change now, with the aim to buy you one by 2042 or so.

Thanks for visiting my blog! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the octopus chandeliers!!! The purply-pink one is my favorite. I need a room that I can decorate in all the weird, whimisical, and bright items like these that I come across. Maybe someday...

These are truly beautiful and crazy -- what a clever idea. You would almost not notice the tentacles on first glance because they look so elegant...

I really get creeped out by things like octopi and squid and even just plain old fish, but I so love these!
