I haven't worn mine since the late 1800's, but I knew if I saved them they would be back. And sure enough, here they are. These are the work of German designer Maide Munchen, whose slogan is "Good Mood Fashion". If you would like to see more, check it out here.

Hi Christie!
Thank you for your words!
I´m glad you like my work! :)
I have been looking at your blog, it´s full of curiosities, it´s very interesting to take a walk through it!
Greetings, Sandra.
Very cute, and far less expensive than buying lots of boots!
FUN & what a blast from the past!
Happy weekend. :-)
Chris
Too cute...my Dad and I were talking about spats just the other day, he said he remembers his Dad wearing them and I asked why he wore them and he said it kept his ankles warm. Don't know if that's the real reason or not, but thought what a coincidence in your post.
These are adorable! How do you discover all the wonderful things you share with us all?
Mary
There's just nothing classier than spats! So romantic.
Brilliant idea!
