Hey Harriet, here's my shadow shot, not very artsy but striking none the less. Or maybe not.

Just Messin Around
I worked diligently most of the day painting the exterior of our house. No, it's not finished, but I took a break anyway and took a few pictures. Here are the real sugar skulls I've been working on and also some felt sugar skulls. How do you like this very cheerful weed? My new yellow yard shoes with ladybugs that I got for my birthday. And Howdy enjoying a sugar skull.

I don't know what to think about this...
Seriously, I have no idea what to think of this or rather these guys. I paid very little attention to the Jack Black movie, Nacho Libre. Jack Black wearing a leotard and speaking with a fake Mexican accent didn't sound like my cup of tea. But while surfing the net I happened across the Luchadores, or Mexican wrestlers. I know our very own wrestlers are somewhat bizarro themselves. From way back in the day when my cousins would watch the Sheik, Gorgeous George and the Fabulous Moolah on our grandparents black and white TV, to the somewhat more current Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock and whoever is the big thing today, they were never anything I would spend much time watching. But these elaborate Mexican characters, their skin tight garb and whole head masks are creepily fascinating. They are either interesting, scary or creepy. I just don't know which. Check out more on the Luchadores blog.
